Hi, we just set up a few WorkCentre 3550s and have faxes set up to forward to various emails. I haven't found how I can customize the email message sent by the machines so that we can differentiate which office the fax was forwarded from (i.e. change email subject line to include office name). This will alow us to filter emails based on subject line.
We have done this for scans but those settings don't seem to apply to the fax forward emails.
Is this possible now or will it be possible with a firmware update in the not-too-distant future? I know we can set up separate emails for each machine but that would not be ideal.
Here is a link to the WorkCentre 3550 System Administrator Guide and on pages 85 - 87 you should find information about the Fax Forward feature. I am not sure if you can modify the subject line or not. Read through these three pages in the System Admin. Guide and see if you can. I hope this helps!
