Hello, I have found information that might be helpful to you. Click the link,, for instructions on how to turn off "Enable Resolve Hostname". This might resovle the issue. if it does not, contact your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.

DFS Scanning

Product Name: WorkCentre 7970
Operating System: Other – specify OS in post

Does the WC7970 support scanning to a folder using Windows 2007 DFS? firmware .075

It works ok on the WC5955.  Both are at the same level software .075.
