i spent one hour with Xerox customer support dude yesterday, and nothing worked. there is a download for Catalina version of driver for 3225 but the Mac does not recognize it.
I've the same issue, after upgrading to Cathalina XEROX forced me to update the software. After having installed the new driver the scanner does not work anymore.
May I ask what you did in the meantime? It seems that XEROX doesnt hav much stress with the issue since it's already quite a while ago since you reportet the issue.

Scann assistant non è più. compatibile con catalina e con Easy printer manager la scansione non parte, mentre selezionandola dal sistema operativo mac da un errore al termine della scansione e il file non viene creato
potete vedere che problemi hanno i driver rilasciati?
The macOS® Catalina drivers continue to be released. The Catalina driver for the WorkCentre 3215 / 3225 and Phaser 3260 is now available. If you do not see it listed please select a different language in the language field on the drivers and downloads page and then change back to the language you need and you should see the driver. Yeah, finally I get rid the Super - Duper - multifunction machine, Workcentre 3225 and I return to the company that I believe has superior support. Good luck to you all.
