Dark band down left side

Product Name: WorkCentre 3335/3345
Operating System: Not Specified

I am getting a dark band down the left side of my scans and copies. This is happening both on the glass and document feeder. It is even there if I scan a plain white piece of paper. I have looked at the glass and the scanning head, but I can't see anything untoward.

No, that's no use at all. Thanks for trying to help though. I had already visited that page when I did my search for a solution. That was the reason I came here to ask if anyone had any useful suggestions.

Hello WorkplaceNorth,

If you have already replaced the Bias Transfer Roll, then I do not have anything else I can suggest. You would need to call Support for more assistance: 1-800-821-2797

Do you even know what a bias transfer roller is? I fail to see how it would have ANY effect on a scanned image.
