None can be removed at the MFP.
To remove the Default go to :
Properties>Services>Workflow Scanning>Display Settings and it should be down at the bottom to remove it.
Now the one that ends with TWAIN unless you created that somewhere on the device is generated by the TWAIN/WIA driver on a PC, you need to remove the TWAIN device at the PC it got installed on so it will stop pushing the template to the device
Otherwise Cheryl's post is correct and the templates will be there as that is where they are created, modified and deleted.
If none of that gets you where you need to be, the device(s) would have to be wiped by a tech back to the defaults.
I forgot to attach the picture
Actually I'm not referring to those templates. I'm attaching a picture of what I am talking about. They show on up on the touch display right on the printer. Under Properties, Services, WorkFlow Scanning, Display. I would like to delete the administrator ones as they were created when I was testing the system. Also as employees leave I would like to be able to delete their templates on the touch display.
Thank you.
P.S. I already talked with our support person at MOS-Xerox. He didn't know how to delete them.
Hi Luanne,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. You should be able to delete them from the CentreWare Internet Services. Open CWIS for the machine. Select the Scan tab. On the left under the Display heading select the Templates button. select the template you want to delete from the list. You should see a Delete and Copy button at the top left, click on Delete, a confirmation box will display click on OK and the template will be deleted. The steps are very similar on the WorkCentre 7120 but the delete button will be on the right hand side.
If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
While setting up my Xerox WC 7545 and 7120 for scanning from a network PC and testing, numerous templates have appeared on the WCs so that when a user goes to scan something she has to scroll past all my test templates. She touches the Network Scanning buttonon the 7120 or the Workflow button on the 7545 and all those options then appear. How do I delete those? I see where in the web interface you can move them or update them but I don't see anywhere to get rid of them. For example I have Administrator_name_dft, Administrator_name_Twain, administrator_name_dft, username_domainname_dft.
I hope I was clear because I am new at this.
