Do not save PDF blank pages

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello
We have an AltaLink C8130
We scan many pages front and back (duplex).
Despite the setting, empty pages (back side) are always saved in the PDF. In the PDF there is always a slight shadow on back side (2-3mm wide and about 150mm long) on the left side. That seems to be enough.
Can I change the behavior?
