Ok what worked for me was to install the driver and onetouch from https://www.xeroxscanners.com/en/us/products/drivers.asp?PN=DM3125.
Then I just installed paperport from my disk and I finally got it to work on windows 10.
Damm even I am having a similar kind of issue, I have searched all over the internet and even have posted on number of threads on different forum, no solution seems to work. I am really frustrated, can anyone of you here help me resolve this issue, I am very much tired now.
I have installed about 10 Xerox Documate 3125 Scanners on Windows 10 machines that prevoiusly worked on Windows 7 machines and have had this same probelm on everyone. I'm having all my users just use it through paperport becuase OneTouch will not work.
I have the same problem trying to use this scanner on Windows 10 Pro. I have tried numerous times installing the latest drivers and One Touch program, and One Touch crashes every time I right-click on an option. I also cannot get Paper Port to recognize the scanner. I very carefully followed the removal and reinstallation instructions for both the driver and One Touch, with no luck. I am about to throw this scanner out the window and move to a Brother or Snap Scan if I cannot get this to work soon.
Does anyone have any answers on this??
I have had a documate 3125 for about 2yrs now and have always used it on a win 7 machine. Just tried it with windows 10 and experience the same problems listed here. I tried troubleshooting the same path but stil the same results? Any ideas??
I just installed the system on a brand new clean Windows 10 machine. Everything apears correctly and the scanner and drivers work from paperport. However, when I "Right Click" on one of the Onetouch icons in the OT system tray to edit the function, it crashes. I went to the website and downloaded the latest drivers and they install just fine. However when I download the MSI file for the latest version of One touch, it won't launch on the computer, says it's not a valid installation package.
When I right click the haulting application info is below.

What issue are you having? The Windows 8 driver should run exactly the same in Windows 10.

Has anyone gotten the Documate 3125 working with Windows 10?
