Hello.
I am a Support Engineer with Xerox Scanners.
In order for you to scan to a network drive make sure you have Onetouch installed. At the bottom right corner of your computer, you should see a Green/Red OT icon Left click on icon to bring up button menu, then right click on "Scan". Select Transfer to Storage, then on right side of window under ' Select Configuration", click " Edit Then Select Storage Tab , browse to specific folder then apply all settings. You can use this configuration for each Onetouch button We also have an extensive support site and knowledgebase at http://www.xeroxscanners.com/en/en/support/
If you continue to experience trouble, please feel free to contact us by calling 800-648-0410.

Hi blashmet
1. How do I configure a DocuMate 515 to scan to a network drive?
You should install the software, from the disk that came with the scanner. See page 34 of the manual.
2. Is it possible to configure 2 separate network drives and choose which one to save to before scanning?
From page 34 of the manual, it does not appear to allow this function.
3. The scanner is directly connected to one user's computer. Can I share it with another user, place scanning shortcuts on each of their desktops, and have the save location be determined by which user initiates the scan?
As with any device connected to a computer, it may be possible to share the device with other users on the network.
Here is a link to the other documentation for your DocuMate 515 Scanner.
