When sending a scan request from the Xerox Print & Scan application, no matter what preset is chosen, the printer initially start to scan, then stops, rings and flags a No Document in Feeder alert. The printer waits and eventually resolves the error and scans from the platen. This adds considerable time to the scan and slows down productivity.
The preset, Scan a Photo, states it scans from the platen. However, the printer still checks the document feeder and flags the alert.
How do we fix this.
