Re: Drivers for M1 Mac (Big Sur)

So I found the solution. I resigned and add proper attributes to Xerox Scanner 1 app and now it works.

codesign --force --deep --sign - Xerox\ Scanner\ 1.app

xattr -rd Xerox\ Scanner\ 1.app

Before the message was that I do not have the permission to run the app during every scan attempt.

Anyway, this is not out of the box working driver. Xerox, please update driver and also utilities.

Re: Drivers for M1 Mac (Big Sur)

Hi pm108,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. The driver you referenced is the current driver.  Please take a look at this article How To Scan on a Macintosh. Make sure to follow the Process Checklist in the article.  If that does not help please check out the article about setting up your scanner to use with the Mac from the macOS user guide. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Drivers for M1 Mac (Big Sur)

Product Name: WorkCentre 3025
Operating System: macOS 11 - Big Sur

Do you know if there will be driver update for M1 Macs for WorkCentre 3025? I can print but I am not able to scan, looks like the drivers are old (and probably not properly signed). Latest released 03/05/2020. Utilities are not working etc. WorkCentre 3025 is stated as supported but this is clearly not true.
