Any idea what the cost to replace the LEDs would cost if out of warranty?

Finally the problem is in the led light of the scanner. Contact Xerox support and a technician moved and changed the ADF feeder.

Clean the side 2 scanner glass. Lift up the feeder like you were going to make a copy on the platten glass. Underneith the feeder is green latches, that pop open. Take a cloth with rubbing alcohol or water and wipe down the glass. 

 

If that fails call Xerox and have them replace your side 2 scanner before the warrenty expires. It could be dead LED lamps in that area not exposing the paper.

Hello,

I have a 6515DNI workcenter multifunction printer. I bought it less than a year ago (it is under warranty).

 

When scanning a double-sided document, a darker area appears in the central part of the document.

This only happens on even pages. If I scan without using double-sided documents are scanned correctly. I have updated to the latest firmware version 65.42.1

 

What could be happening, how can i fix it?
