I try to activate Scan to PC option by Easy Printer Manager under Windows 10. Unfortunately I have got following error message.
"It is not possible to enable scan from device panel due to duplicate scan ID, please try with different scan ID."
Where is this profile saved and is it possible to clear this record?
And which of the hundreds of Xerox printer/scanners are we working with?

1) install SW from Xerox B215 CD version 1.09 (10.11.2019)
2) enable Scan to PC feature from Xerox Easy Printer Manager
3) register scan ID for network scan
4) uninstall Xerox Easy Printer Manager
5) install Xerox Easy Printer Manager
6) enable Scan to PC feature again
7) unable to register original scan ID due to error message
Samsung designed the software to use the HOSTID of the PC it is installed on as the Scan ID (Should be able to see it at the upper right of the Easy Device Manager when you set up the scanner.)
The issue they did not account for was multiple users on one PC, or 2 PC's with the same name. If that is the case, it just isn't going to work unless you change the host ID or store the jobs in a folder available to both users.
(The root of any drive for instance)
If you installed it to the printer, then deleted and re added the software to the same PC, you should theoretically be able to just disable it in the software , then reboot both, and enable it again.
Just a theory since I haven't actually done such a thing and haven't seen reports of others doing it on any of the samsung forums or here on Xerox's

The problem persists still, but scan ID is stored in printer.
When the PC is switched off, the printer offers fake IDs still. Is it possible to clear this section by CWIS or by factory reset of B215?
