Email Scanning on WorkCentre 7120

We have some difficulty with email scanning on our WorkCentre 7120. The email attachements arrive to the users email box with additional characters at the end of the file names. A sort of auto-numbering, is there a way to change this in the web interface for the device?

hello, I have attached screen shots for a similar model which may be helpful.  the setting may be changed through the properites tab on the unit's web interface and email settings.  good luck!
