I am trying to get my Workcentre 6515 to scan to my imac. I have setup but when I attempt to scan I get error 016 -781 server connection error. I have read several posts about this error code, but none have received a response that has satisfied the user. There are clearly lots of possible problems. Does Xerox have a chat line or contact phone in the UK where I can talk through my specific setup? Thanks
Perform the steps that follow:
a. Correctly set the subnet mask and gateway.
b. From the destination server, ping the machine.
c. Check whether characters other than ASCII are set for the host name of the device.
Set the host name of the device to ASCII characters.
d. Reload the software.
