Fault code 016-503 indicates an error resolving the hostname of the SMTP server. Check the TCP/IP settings on the device and confirm that valid DNS servers are configured. Here are the typical SMTP settings for GSuite.
Server: smtp.gmail.com
Port: 587
Encryption Type: STARTTLS
Use a valid email and password for authentication.
You will also need to enable either of the following settings for that account in the Google account settings in order for the machine to be able to send email.
If 2 factor authentication is enabled for the account then App Specific Passwords are what you must use. If you create an app specific password use that as the password that you configure on the Xerox. Be sure to note the app specific password when it is displayed, if you use that option, because you can't see again after you close the window that displays it.
I have tried to setup the SMPT for our organizations g-suite account - however I keep receiving error 016-503. Not really sure what I am doing wrong. This is my first time setting up SMPT so I'm a little in the dark.
Any help would be appreciated!
