Re: Error Code: 39,003,40... Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP

You will need to have one of each color in the machine.

I do not think you will minimize the amount lost by removing any ink, as the ink being lost is the ink thats already heated up.

If you plan on restarting the machine several times it might be a good idea to remove the ink though.

So no point in removing any ink? I mean to minimise the amount lost!?

Thanks!

As the machine does a clean up when starting up you will not be able to avoid ink loss.

Re: Error Code: 39,003,40... Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP

Thanks for the reply - what I could do with establishing is whether there is a way to avoid ink loss by following those instructions?  I am just aware that whenever the printer is switched off then, typically, a lot of ink is lost!

Many thanks!

Hey you!

Yes, you will need to follow those instructions, if that does not work the Scanner Assembly will need to be replaced.

Error Code: 39,003,40... Xerox Phaser 8560 MFP

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hi,

We are receiving the above error with regard to our Xerox MFP 8560 machine.  After much investigation, a potential solution appears to be:

http://www.support.xerox.com/support/phaser-8860mfp/support/enus.html?objGUID=7677

What I am trying to establish is if, by following this procedure, I am going to lose a colossal amount of ink by effectively switching the printer off or if there is any way I can reduce/eliminate such losses!?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
