If you have Server 2012 you will need a firmware update.
If the printer is not registered on an actual Domain you can't use the server host name, you have to use the IP address (Windows Networking is not supported in Connectkey printers), this is certainly not the case if the printer is on a static IP address.
do i need "\\MyServer\scans" in the SHARE?
Nope. that will fail for sure
Under Login Name should I do "MyDomianName\MySignOnName" ?
On any current OS the answer is yes, purely because local accounts hardly exist, best bet is to always use the exact name in brackets in the permissions
File Repository applies only to Templates within Network Scan, your address book entry doesn't reference it in any way.
Ok, im troubleshooting the error "xerox login failure check user password and or setups" at one of our locations. Ive check the user name and password and even tried another one. The share has the correct permissions for those users.
So i'm trying to make sure this is how it is suppost to look. OR do i need "\\MyServer\scans" in the SHARE?
Under Login Name should I do "MyDomianName\MySignOnName" ?
Also does it anything need to be under "Properties > Services > Workflow Scanning > File Repository Setup" or just in the Adress Book Entry?
