The 7530 can't do SMBv2 or SMBv3 so SMB simply can't be done without modifying the server to allow SMBv1, and if you do so, Microsoft will surely undo the changes eventually in a security update.

So you will need to enable and configure FTP on the computer.

Then on the printer Webui

CWIS > Scan > Create New template

1 = FTP

2 = The computers IP address

3 = The username/email used in step 12 of the refenced link for ftp

4 = Password for account used above (and yes, there has to be a password)

Situation: Can not  scan from xerox to our server.

Recently updated to windows 10 pro 64bit to comply with requirements for program we use.

We run a virtual machine and our prior setup was sending the pdfs to windows xp virtual system.

Need to learn how to setup new network scanning path on xerox centreware internet services.
