normally it should work with the global driver configured as for example an workcentre 128 or something... not just default, otherwise the driver will be in basic mode with no fax settings

Fabio, I do not think it will work and I haven't found a driver for older models for Windows 7.

what driver have used? whas it the one below? the m118 isnt supported anymore for 64 bit windows 7, there fore that driver was only intended for generic use...

what you can try is to install the global driver but not in basic mode but select a device in the options tab close to your machne , for example the 5225 series... then in the configuration tab , enable the fax option, then it will be visible in the preferences

but if its going to work.... its trial and error
