mdeffpr-app001.rolls-royce-electrical.com is up and running we use it as an smtp Relay.
The relay is working and can send emails from services such as Veeam backup, ise, prime etc these are forwarded from smtp relay to o365 and i can confirm is working fine i.e. emails are being relayed/.

 Scan to\Setup\ FROM FIELD Confguration

From Field

Default From address
Always use default From address Yes
 No
Allow logged-in users to edit the From field when Address Book (LDAP) Search Successful
  Address Book (LDAP) Search Failure
Address Book (LDAP) Search Not Performed
Edit From field when authentication is not required Yes
 No
Use sender's name Add sender's name to email address

My Questions are:

When we have an SMTP relay that fowards trafic to O365 email on port 587 encrypted and using port 25 for printer to relay scan to email to the relay the no-reply@domain.com account can be setup as a default address to send email from at the printer. Do we need to use Kerberos authentication for the no reply account if the emal relay is authenticating with the o365?

If we do you have to have an account in Active directory right for the kerberos to work?

Regards

Daniel
