do you use an other filleformat for forwarding faxen the email? maybe you can try to change that for testing? maybe your smtp server doesnt allow jpeg for example?
With the problem you are experiecing do you get any type of error sheet after the fax comes in or does it just print the fax out? I had a similar issue with a machine and just wondering if it's the same problem.
Mine was more with SMB Scanning and not SMTP scanning - the fax would come in, get picked up by the machine but never get processed to the rule - just print the fax.
Fabio,
I verified the firmware is at latest level. Also using IP address instead of hostname for smtp server....I have it elevated at this time since it's two different machines in two different locations with two complete different smtp servers giving me issues....
that is indeed verry strange since the same smtp is used to forward faxes...
Can you try setting up the SMTP server with the IP adress?
Do you also know there is a new general firmware out? This one contains lot of fixes, maybe you can try updating the firmware also, it can be found on the drivers and download pages...

I have attempted to setup fax forward to e-mail on two 7545's with no avail. I can scan to e-mail with no issues at all. Once I create the rule to send faxes to the saem e-mail that I test the scan to e-mail function with, I get the error "cannot connect to smtp server".
Anyone else have this issue?
