We have two 5855 machines and I am trying to set them up to forward faxes to an email address
I tried setting up the Fax Forward rule in the Fax Services set up and initially would get an error page "Job was not sent to the SMTP server"
I then went into the SMTP settings and ensured that the SMTP for system services was enabled properly (it was not) so I enabled it as the system email (SMTP Login credentials for the machine to Access the SMTP Server to send automated emails (e.g., E-mail Alerts, Fax Forwarding is what the option says)
Im now not getting any error messages, but nothing is getting forwarded as it should. They arent sending through to the email address I specified.
