Have you also checked the SMTP email server setting, you will find the instruction here.  I found this as a related article when setting up fax forwarding.

Fax Forward not working on Versalink C505

Hello, 
For about a month now I have been trying to get my office's Xerox Versalink C505 fax forward function to work. I have followed the instructions posted here step by step, yet when my machine receives a fax, it is not forwarded (my email inbox remains empty). I know that the machine is definitely receiving the faxes, as the sender receives a fax confirmation, and the machine's fax records report receiving the message. However, it seems like the message just disappears into cyberspace. Does anyone have an idea as to why nothing is showing up in my inbox, or how to fix this problem?
