maybe you can use a PDL reference guide to send a fax?

Well, sorry, I can help with that.
More than likely the only way to get it to work is to get the software to know how to deal with the Xerox device, and that is well beyond my ability.
Hi Joe and thanks for the fast reply,
English isn´t as easy as i thought... :)
The question is:
How can I automatically set the recipient of a fax and other data from an application?
I don´t want to enter the number in an adressbook befor a when i send the fax.
Actual we use a Tobit Solution and in the Word Document is a field like @@faxnumber@@ and the faxdriver sends then the fax to this number without any interactions with the user.
Kind regards
Carsten
Assuming from a PC, just install a driver and call it 7855 fax, then have it set to by default fax to a particular number. If multiple numbers, install multiple times and name ala "7855 Fax David" etc.
You are going to need to tell us/me what the "Fax solution" is, I assume some software PC side, but have no idea how it then would send that number only it knows to the printer.
Who are the Him and He in this statement/question? Where does a pop-up occur? As an outsider, I have no idea what you are stating/asking at all.
Hi!
We have a WC7855 and a WC560 in our office.
We need the functionality to send a written letter (Mail Merge) to the Fax device in the printer without using the adressbook.
In our Letter is a textfield with the faxnumber (in Textcolor white - so the receiver cant see the field). When our actual Faxsolution gets the letter it recognizes this, use the number and send the letter.
In the Xerox case he receives the letter and i found no way to give him the number automatically. There´s always a pop up where he´s asking for the number. We send around 500 Letters per day
Any ideas ?
Thanks so far !
