Faxing from a Mac

You can fax from your Mac or any other operating system, including windows. You may start a seamless integration with easy to use fax wizard snd then fax from your computer, and you may combine it with windows and outlook contacts. You may send your fax to multiple recipients or communications with the fax wizard in the same way. Just get fax software and you may get learn how to get a free fax number and send messages to your recipients. There are a lot of applications and tools for this purpose, and you may use this software.

You're right. The 'Xerox Features' option in the system printer dialog has a 'fax job' optin built-in to send faxes!

I guess the documentation is wrong.

You may need to call Xerox to find that software or it maybe incorrect documentation. 

On a PC you use the common print driver and when you print, you select the printer then go to properties>job type and change to fax. 

There maybe a similar setting for the MAC driver when print

Installing LAN Fax Drivers for Macintosh

1. Insert the Software and Documentation disc into your computer.
2. Double-click the disc icon on your desktop to view the .dmg file for your printer.
3. Open the LAN Fax Installer.dmg file, then navigate to the appropriate installer file for your operating system.
4. Open the LAN Fax Installer package file.
5. Click Continue to acknowledge the warning and introductory messages.
6. To accept the license agreement, click Continue, then click Agree.
7. To accept the current installation location, click Install, or select another location for the installation files, then click Install.
8. Enter your password, then click OK.
9. Select your printer in the list of discovered printers, then click Continue.
10. Click Continue Installation.
11. To finish, click Close.

12. To register your printer and software, complete the registration form.

CD is Windows only and no Fax driver from the Xerox Support downloads site.

Hello,

I need to fax from my Mac (as a printer) and the latest PDF guide for my printer talks about a LAN FAX driver.dmg that is neither on the Xerox site nor on the Windows-only CD that came with my printer.

How can I fax from my Mac then?

I'm running macOS Mojave.
