Since a part seems to be damaged I suggest calling into the support department for assistance at 1-800-821-2797.
The feeder sensor (I believe that is what that is) has damaged. A paper jam got caught and it came out with the threads that I really don't know how that functions. But since it happened earlier today my scanning is either not preparing to scan, just goes directly to scan when the paper is feed and the app is on. In the past it would wait until to pressed Start Scanning. If that does not happen then an error is noted that their is something wrong. Does not say what.
If anyone can assist or understand what is going on and if something needs to be replaced it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
