071.010.034.06000 is a spar release that is newer than the latest general release. spar versions are released to fix specific problems. You should look at the release notes to see if it fixes a problem you may be having.

so what I found on the website is the latest general release and the spar release 071.040.034.06000 who is now on the machine in an older version?Is it normal that I can't update from that SPAR version to the latest general release?

Keep in mind that there are two versions of software. One for the 7825/35 and another for the 7845/55.

It looks like you used the fast version on your machine by mistake.

The giveaway is the .010 vs .040.

071.(010).034.06000 this is the latest spar version.

071.(010).103.04401 this is the latest general release.

For some troubles, I want to upgrade the Workcentre 7845 to the latest firmware on the xerox support page.

"WorkCentre_7845-55-system-sw#07104010304401#ENG_MOD.DLM"

The machine is now on : 071.010.034.06000

If I do the update on the machine to : 07104010304401

Machine reboots and in the webinterface, there is still : 071.010.034.06000

A bug ? Somewhere else you could see if this is the latest firmware on the machine?
