Currently, assuming all your settings are correct, you need to go into security on the gmail account you are trying to use to scan with. Turn on Less Secure Apps. Soon that feature will be disabled. In a case like that or if using 2FA you need to create a password. If they are not using 2FA, it needs to be turned on and then create an app password. Then use that password in the Login Credentials on the copier in place of the normal login password.

Hello, I'm trying to email from my xerox b235MFP. I"m following the instructions step by step but keep getting a failed message when trying to send. I see two different gateway ports, 465 and 587. I've tried both and neither work. Please help, Not sure what I'm doing wrong.
