Half of scanned page yellow when using duplex scanning

I do not have the software on all my PCs so I generally scan to a USB stick directly from the printer. Not sure if there is a way to update firmware on the printer itself.

Can try updating the software. Might need a tech visit

When I scan from the document feeder using duplex scanning half the page has a yellow discoloration. Copy of blank page attached to show the issue. This happens if the page is blank or not.
