Forgot to add, if you have a Fiery, and templates are being created every time you scan something (Typically the new templates will have the same name as the scanned file) then somebody changed the "Default Repository", if that is the case you should call for 2nd level support as it is fairly involved to fix that. There is a good chance the copier would need to have it's settings wiped out.
If you have a Fiery: <If not scroll down just past the first screenshot>
Take the IP address of the Fiery and put it in the address bar of whatever web browser you prefer to load the built in webpage.
Select the "Scan Settings" tab.
Login at the right with "admin" and "Fiery.1"
If the templates are here, just delete them.
If they are not , select the "home" tab
Now at the lower right select the "Xerox Centreware" link.
If you don't have a Fiery , Take the printers IP address and put it in the address bar of whatever web browser you prefer to load the built in webpage.
User/pass is admin/1111 if it asks
Now on the new page you would select the "scan" tab
Select "Templates" at the upper left, then select any template from the list below there.
The delete button will show at the upper right.
I have quite a few templates being stored on my scanning network for the 550 due to people not selecting one of the standard templates being used. How do I delete those? I cant seem to find anything describing the process to remove them.
