I got it!
Thanks you,
Best regards,
They can't, Office365 is not an LDAP server.
Hello Sir,
Thanks for your time to involed with this.
Yes, I am confusing, Your instructions is very usefull.
That is my faults to missunderstandning!
Now i am more understand, after i read this carefully.
My questions above is not direction what i mean for what i would to do.
Please let me descript again.
We have Active Directory Server and We are Using Micorosft Outlook 365 online,
What i wold like to mean is , How we could configured users SCAN TO Their e mail, that when they go to Physical Xerox, On the screen, when they Click "Email" ==> "New Reciepient" , they could search their email to pull from Outlook 365 Server.
Appology for any mistakes.
Best regards,
You are confusing the terminology.
The address book is entirely seperate from Active Directory, there is no link at all between the 2.
Active directory will provide you the ability to search an existing LDAP list on a server.
Address book is a local list on the printer.
I am really Sorry,
It configured wrong just i could not get the screen of Address Book as you show
Again, here is what i did:
and i got the Address Book Windows when i go there.
Please advise
Best regards,
Once LDAP is setup you will get the option to search when you go into email.
To manually add the user select the Address book in CWIS and click Add.
Thanks for your quick responds,
Last question Sir,
How to apply or add AD users to Send email list in Xerox?
I tried that, but i am not sure, the right place.. so just make sure, where would it be apply for that?
Best regards,
Number 1 . Select IP 4 Address, Is this IP of AD server?
Yes it is.
2-IP Address Port, Is this IP of AD server?
Yes it is
3-Port, which port number should we put?
No idea, this would depend on your server, most likely port 389
4-Backup IP Address , What is this mean?
A backup server in case the above one is not running, if you don't have one you don't fill it in.
5-Port, what is port name?
Same as 3 if you filled out 4
6-LDAP Server, what shoud we select?
Again, Depends on your server, but you already stated Active Directory Server yourself in your post
7-Serch Directory Root, What should we fill these out?
Depends on your server. Something like this may help
8-Log in name, Is this Domain Account?
If the domain account has LDAP access. Any account that can search the Active directory server can be used.
If you do a Domain account you need to format correctly ala Domain\Username or User@Domain, and again, that depends on your server
9-What should we put information to these ?
No idea, again every single question you have bears no relation to Xerox, it is all your server settings that are required by your server to connect to your server and do a search.
Dear All,
