Nice!
Connect the cable to the printer network port and to your pc.Next step is configuring the network.
- Set an IP address on your printer by following these steps:
On step 8 select auto
On step 11 select IPv4
On step 2 select Static
On step 5 enter: 192.168.0.5
On step 7 enter: 255.255.255.0
ignore step 8, 9, 10, 11
After step 16, stop
Next is how to set an ip on your PC, but for that I need to know what is your Operation System and version

ignore the rest
Now is time to test:
Go to Start and on the field type CMD and enter
A black windows should appear. Type this:
ping 192.168.0.5 and enter
you should get 4 replies something ike this:

Reply from from 192.168.0.5: bytes=32 time=1 ms TTL=46
Reply from from 192.168.0.5: bytes=32 time=1 ms TTL=46
Reply from from 192.168.0.5: bytes=32 time=1 ms TTL=46
If you get this you just completed the configuration of your network.

Any way you could update this for windows 10? I have inherited a WorkCentre 7435 but where I am placing it is far from the cable modems and of course it doesn't have wifi. Can I use this method to connect it to the internet via a computer?
