We are a small business, no network and not much network knowledge. No IT personal to help. I do have the IP address. I simply would like to print from PDF files on a single computer. I'm not even sure how to hard wire the copier to the computer.
With set up disk in drive I went to download the printer driver, got to where it wanted the IP address, typed it in but it can't find the printer (or copier). I assume I don't have it connected to the computer properly.
Gary, do you know much about networking, ip addresses and such? I'll assume you are in an office, with a network? You should login to the machine, set the ip address, gateway, DNS etc. Then install the printer and drivers on your print server. Do you have an IT dept to help?
