Fax doesn't have protocols, Turn on the line monitor and see what happens when the fax comes in.

Machine Status > Tools > Service Settings > Fax Service > Fax Volume

Good afternoon,

I have a client that can not receive a file on a 7220 with the latest firmware but 3325 or 3615 can receive.

Does it have a different protocol
