The description of Internet Fax on Xerox support site is:  

"Send an Internet Fax

If an SMTP e-mail server is connected to the network, a document can be sent to an e-mail address. This feature eliminates the need for a dedicated telephone line. When sending an Internet Fax, the document is scanned and then sent to an e-mail address."

How is this any different than the Scan to Email feature?
