Unfortunately you cannot upgrade your printer to MFP, because there are many parts different between a simple printer and MFP (Main Board, covers, power supply...).
I bought a c500 and I realised I should have gone with the c505 to beable to scan without a seperate machine. Is there a Multi function add-on for the c500 printer to give it scanning capabilities? Most things like this the manufacturers would create the base hardware and then add things to create a different model, Knowingf that I'm hoping I can purchase the scanning hardware to add to the c500 and then update the firmware and software to the c505.
