Issues with scan to email "start not available"

Product Name: WorkCentre 5845/5855
Operating System: Windows 10


I am encountering/have been encountering an issue for a while with a Xerox WorkCentre 5845 in which I am prompted with the message "start not available". Receiving this message means that I have to quick restart the system to have it scan again. This usually occurs after several "build job" scanning loads (scanned to email), but recently it has been occuring after every single "build job" scan. How can I fix this problem? Thank you
