Could you post your Xerox repository settings or send them to me via a private message for further review?
The server runs on a MacOs Yosemite 10.10.5 with MacServer 5.0.15.
I see kerberos profiles in the profiles/users list.
I see smb in the options and that doesn't work and AFP does.
You did not mention which operating system you are using on the destination computer. Keep in mind that SMB1 is disabled in Win10 by default, so products that rely on SMB1 only cannot scan to Win10 unless SMB1 is specifically enabled on the Win10 computer that you wish to scan to (you can google how to do this.
What OS were you on prior to when it stopped working? It could be an issue with SMB. On a typical Mac installation, I would use SFTP. I would check to see if SMB needs any adjustments in Mac OS 12, I'm not sure off the top of my head.
Hello Kroket,
I searched and found a few things you can try from this article on the login issue when scanning.
Before summer, we could scan to folder on the network. Nothing has changed this summer in our already very small infrastructure. But suddenly we can't scan to folder any more. I just keep getting deleted. Login error. All login details are correct, I've tried all ports. I have no idea on how to fix it. I called the partner where we lease the machine, and they can't help either.
The server is an Apple server which we can connect to perfectly with AFP:// and similar credentials.
The scan destination folder is just SCANS, and in this folder are the names of all the employee's with their own folder.
IP destination is still correct, used port 139 and port 445. Both give me the same result.
I've read all previous post similar to my problem, no results.
