LDAP Group Permissions Mapping

I have configured LDAP to successfully authenticate users on the MFD, but I cannot assign user permissions or groups because the copier appears to be using an incorrect filter when searching for LDAP groups. 

I would expect it to use "objectClass=groupOfNames" or "objectClass=posixGroups" or even groupOfUniqueNames, (my LDAP server responds to all three) but it seems locked to the Active Directory-style "objectCategory=groups," which is not supported outside Active Directory.

How can I change the Group query filter, to be compatible with non-Active Directory LDAP servers?  I already have the LDAP mode set to Exchange, not ADS.
