Re: LDAP queries question

I think the solution is to invert again all names in the AD and thus all Exchange accounts...

Re: LDAP queries question

Sagouain,

It sounds like a configuration problem on the LDAP settings under the Xerox devices. Can you post the configuration - removing any confidential information - and we can see what may be wrong.

Also, knowing the AD setup would be hand too to search the correct OU's.

Thank you,
Jordan

LDAP queries question

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Hello,

We are planning to migrate 200 users of our site on another domain inside our organisation.

There will be no trust between the old domain and the new one (blame the IT management).

The most simple is to query the main domain of our corporation which hosts the MS Exchange server with the LDAP protocol. It works fine.

But the problem is that all the user's cn are created with the last name first "Smith Paul" (blame the IT management), and its quite unconfortable.

We have 12 Xerox Workcenter in our branch office, which are all differents (excepted 6 5230), and they aren't reacting the same way.

On the Workcenters 5230, it simply impossible to enable the feature (it remains disabled) (the firmware are up-to-date).

On the WC 7545 the feature is activated, but its still impossible to find somebody with his givenname. (the firmware is also up-to-date).

I tried different configurations but nothing helped.

Do you know a workaround for this problem?

Thanks for your help.

Season's Greetings !
