Ok, never mind.  Found it in the ScanningPatch_ConnectKey_English.pdf -> to look for LL appended to the Network controller software.

Hi,

 

We just purchased a 7830 and installed it today.  I downloaded and installed the Scanner Patch.  How can I tell (by firmware version or otherwise) that the patch was successfully applied?  Is there anything in the web interface that would tell me?

Having the latest spar is not a prerequisite.

What version do you have? You should have the latest general release v061.121.222.06508.

Make sure the file is unzipped. If it still wont load then have a tech come out.

We have a WC 7545. Tried to install LLWC75xxV1_.dlm using the web interface, which I just downloaded yesterday. It uploaded but never actually installed - no error message, just nothing at all after over an hour. Trying to reach tech support on the phone now for help, but you asked for feedback.

To build on what Rick said in his message...

 

We have many engineers that are interested in your experiences, good or bad, with the LL patch.  Most importantly, we want to make the bad ones better as soon as possible, so if you can please let us know...

  • which product you are upgrading
  • which version of sw you are upgrading, and
  • what problems you are currently seeing

we'll work with you to get you back in production.

 

For those of you that want to share your good experiences, that would be helpful for us, as well.
