Hi Zed,
I haven't got Acrobat installed, but do have Photoshop and it can find & scan from my c405 using it's ICA driver - although the printer only appears as a printer in the Mac's SysPrefs Printers/Scanners list.
Can your Mac see your 6515 using other programs with the ICA driver - if it can't then you might have a problem with the driver installation...
Easiest way to check is to make sure your 6515 is turned on and attached/on the network & that you can print to it. Then start your Mac's built in scan app - Image Capture - and see if your 6515 appears as a device in the devices list in the left hand panel - if running via the network, it may appear under the SHARED list, if directly connected then it will be under the DEVICES list.
If it appears in either list, and the scanner does a preview scan when you click on the device name and then click on 'Show Details' then the device driver is installed OK.
Hello Zed,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.
It seems Adobe Acrobat Pro 10 is unable to see the scanner. When trying to create a PDF from scanner, there is nothing to select in the "Scanner" list.
I installed the latest softwares I found:
What can I do to get the scanner working ?
