Re: MacOS Ventura on Apple Silicon cannot detect WorkCentre 3225 MFP scanner

I don't understand how you got the scanner to be recognized. How do you download the driver if it doesn't exist?

Re: MacOS Ventura on Apple Silicon cannot detect WorkCentre 3225 MFP scanner

Hi! I did the following: 1. Delited MFP from the list, 2. Restart computer, 3. Installed MFP with automatical driver recognition. It works. You can print and scan. But the bed news is that in a while scanning stops working and you have to reapeat 1-2-3. Hope that the guys will solve it ASAP.

This is indeed the problem. No drivers for Ventura (both Intel and Apple Silicon).

Hello! There is no drivers on the official XEROX support for WorkCentre 3225 MFP to use it on MacOS Ventura 13.XX. MFU can be used only as printer. How to scan?

Hell simgov,

Here is an article on how to Scan on Macintosh.  You will first need to have the correct driver install, you can locate all available drivers on our drivers and download page here.  If you are still having issues after trying these steps, I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-835-6100.

MacOS Ventura on Apple Silicon cannot detect WorkCentre 3225 MFP scanner

Product Name: WorkCentre 3225
Operating System: Other – specify OS in post

Hello,

I am running MacOS Ventura on a Apple Silicon (M2) MacBook and the Xerox 3225 MFP is detected as AirPrint printer only. The scanning device is not detected. Is there a way to scan without using the scan-to-email function?

Simone
