Under Management choose the Delete all names option, reboot and retry adding the users.
Address book should take 5000 entries, so something is broken on your machine, so if the above fails, upgrade the firmware and hope, else you would need to have a tech do an Altboot to fix it (Wipes all data)
Hello,
We have a Xerox Workcentre 7556. We use an LDAP address book for the system wide network to scan items to email. I am trying to set up a public address book to be stored on the device itself so the most frequent users can easily access their names without searching through the LDAP address book (some folks have long names and it can be time consuming to type it all in).
When I access the public address book and attempt to "add new name" after I press "Save &New" I get an error message which reads:
Maximum number of entries have been exceeded within the Public Address Book.
The Last addition/ import was not saved.
Please Delete any entries not needed and try again.
The kicker is that I currently only have ONE name stored in the Public Address Book. Why won't it allow me to enter more than one name? I've even tried uploading a .csv with the rest of the names. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Regards,
KDinHI
