Re: Maximum templates in Network Template Pool?

Thanks for the input everybody. I see the error of my ways now - I did not realize that adding the Document Path (optional) would only add that path to my new template and not the Default template. Just tested it and it worked as expected. Thank you!

Re: Maximum templates in Network Template Pool?

Another great option for this is to create 1 master "Default" template that points to your file server, and create many "Scan" Templates under the scan tab in the webpage of the machine. These can point to sub-folders of your Default template.

If your machine has newer System Software on it, you can actually create up to 250 templates under the Scan tab on the webUI without even using the "Workflow Scanning" Templates. Many customers have switched to this mode, and love it.

Let me know if you need upgraded system software to see these options, its a free upgrade.

Re: Maximum templates in Network Template Pool?

HI Schappy26,

According to page 9 of the product specifications sheet on www.xerox.com under Support and drivers  (http://www.office.xerox.com/latest/W56SS-01.PDF)  the maximum templates are 250 can be created.

Thanks,

Maximum templates in Network Template Pool?

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I'm attempting to configure mulitple file destinations for users to scan to on a WorkCentre 5638. There is a limit of 5 file repositories that can be configured (1 default, 4 alternate). Can someone tell me if there is a limit to the number of templates the copier can read from a Network Template Pool? If there is no limit, I believe this will help me create a number of file destination locations for different users and simply store their templates in the Network Pool.

Thank you.
