Hi Joe,
thank you, I tried to update the firmware and to disable Scanning Lock File but with no success...
I will try to set up FTP scan and see if it works.

In the web, browser, right after the IP address in the address bar, add /diagnostics.
When the page loads, you can disable lock file creation
It will probably just move on to a different problem. The firmware you have is from Jan 2008, the newest is from Jan 2010, way too old to support SMB scan to any current OS realistically, you would be much better off simply using FTP to the same share folder, then the Clients can stay how they are setup, and this printer can still scan.
The latest firmware is this one, but unless the file server is very old, I don't think it will help your situation. Netbios and SMBv1 have been all but eliminated.
Kaika,
Couple of things, Have you upgrade the device to the latest Firmware ?
Sometimes, recreating the Scan to folder on the server can fix this issue.
This might be useful as well;
Hi,
I'v read many posts about the "lck" scanning problem. When we scan to a Windows Server 2012 R2 machine scan fails and a lck folder is created.
Below is the configuration of our 5665, I cannot find any newer firmware anywhere.
SMB1/2/3 are enabled on Windows Server.
IP address and 445 port are used.
What can I do?
Thank you
