Re: Network TWAIN scan problem

Hi itsmsolutions,

please could you be more specific about the package you used?

Which of the installer found in support did you use?

Thank you

Re: Network TWAIN scan problem

Hi

I have found a solution that works for me, when the xerox driver install package ends, delete the printer that has been configured, then add a new printer in control panel, select your printer and complete the wizard.

The scan option appears on the printer definition, and I could then scan from my application.

This is on Windows 10 April 2018.

Re: Network TWAIN scan problem

Is this working on a different version of OS ? Example Win 7 or Win 8.

Been having little issues popping on now and then on the Win 10 here at work.

Re: Network TWAIN scan problem

I have the same issue on another MFP, the drivers do not detect the printer over the network on any machine. I have spoken to support several times and just just been informed it is a known problem and to wait for updated drivers.  There was no ETA and no offer of trying previous version of drivers..   could be weeks or months before new drivers are released?

Network TWAIN scan problem

Product Name: VersaLink C405 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi,

I'm facing a strange problem with a new C405. Machine is properly configured for network printing, we have updated it to latest firmware 68.31.81 but cannot use on a Windows 10 x64 the  Xerox Scanner Management Utility. We want and must use it because we need to install TWAIN driver a software we use requires it. When we try to add the printer to the utility it says that it doesn't exist. Even if we can print and are able to manage it through web. Already checked antivirus and firewall. What else could be the problem?

Thank you

Karina
