Sorry to disappoint you but the patches will not solve the poor quality.
This device has some serious issues, to date we cannot get a "good" scan out of it and scan to email takes a long time to complete and even then it doesn't show up in your email for several minutes
Oh yeah don't get me started on printing...12 seconds per page double sided is not fast unless you are comparing it to an old HP laserjet II.
Sorry but this need more than firmware to fix
