I seem to be unable to find any relevant, contemporary advice toward scanning and I am not sure why but anyway here is my question:
While I am searching through High-sec for data and relic sites I will sometimes come across a location that I seem unable to get a full read on. Usually I can get them to 70-80% with a few fiddles of the probes, but never more than that. What gives? I know about echos and how I should make sure that they are the real deal, and I do, but then it seems that there is a cap to how much a read I can get. Am I supposed to drop out and directional scan after I narrow it down? Anyway, I remain confused.
The name of these sites are usually something like "Local Guristas Backup Server" or some such. And they are usually in 0.5-0.7 security if that makes a difference. Thanks for any insight you guys can provide.
