Re: OCR recognition failed

Hi!

I already have it. I thought the people at the source knew more. ;-)

Re: OCR recognition failed

Hello Andymo,

I really don't know the answer to this one, and it seems no one in the community has responded either. I would recommend calling Xerox Support for your region.

Thanks,

Re: OCR recognition failed

Hello,

Unfortunately I only have the view in German.

The device can make the document searchable.

Re: OCR recognition failed

Hello Andymo,

I am not finding anything in the Support Page for OCR and this device. If there a specific software you are using?

Thanks,

OCR recognition failed

Product Name: AltaLink C8130 / C8135 / C8145 / C8155 / C8170 Color Multifunction Printer
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hello
We have an AltaLink C8130
We use it to scan all documents with OCR recognition. We work with keywords so that our software can use this information to automatically file the scan.
Unfortunately, the keyword is either separated by spaces or even line breaks are made.
The dictionary is set to German.

Example:
SCANKD123456         (Original)

(OCR)
SCAN KD 123456

SCAN KD123456

SCAN
KD
123456

There are many opportunities. Can I change the behavior?

Regards
André
